We invite educators with innovative practices, dynamic applications of literacy research, or fresh perspectives aligned to our conference strands to submit proposals.

The conference is open to all educators, school leaders, instructional coaches, and education professionals. Educator” is broadly defined — anyone who shares knowledge, facilitates learning, or supports education (including coaches, consultants, nonprofit leaders, and administrators) is welcome. However, families and travel companions are also welcome.
The registration covers access to professional development workshops, conference materials, networking events, group activities, and sponsored giveaways. Cruise fare, meals, and entertainment are included through Carnival Cruise Line.
Workshops cover literacy innovation, Leadership, wellness, STEAM, and sustainability.
Certificates of participation will be provided, which you may submit to your district or professional board for credit (acceptance varies by state/district).
Casual cruise attire is acceptable for most sessions. A Formal Dinner is held on the first night, and a Farewell Gala takes place on the final night — formal or cocktail attire is encouraged.

Yes. Schools may use Title I funds if the conference aligns with their schoolwide plan or addresses a documented instructional need. The conference focuses on improving teacher effectiveness in reading and literacy instruction.

Participants will be provided with documentation showing how the conference aligns with their instructional goals and how participants will apply new strategies to improve student learning.

Schools may choose to cover a portion of the registration cost instead of the full amount. Contribution options are $250, $500, $750, or $1,000 per participant. The remaining balance can be paid by the participant or another funding source.
